Lewis Hamilton Stuns at Met Gala After Racing in Miami GP

Just hours after racing in the Miami Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton turned heads at the 2025 Met Gala, wearing an all-cream Wales Bonner suit styled by Eric McNeal.

Honoring Black Style in Fashion

The 40-year-old Formula 1 icon embraced the gala’s theme, “The Garden of Time: Superfine—Tailoring Black Style,” with a flawless ensemble. He paired his tailored outfit with a matching beret, a lapel brooch, multiple rings, and diamond earrings—displaying his commitment to fashion excellence and cultural representation.

Hamilton Speaks on His Role as Co-chair

“It’s a real honor and privilege, something that I’ve been working on for a long, long time,” Hamilton shared in an interview with Vogue. “Just getting to go to the Met Gala was always something really special.”

This year, he serves as co-chair alongside Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams, further cementing his place as a cultural icon beyond motorsport.

Legacy of Representation in Fashion

Hamilton has a history of using his influence to uplift marginalized voices in fashion. In 2021, he invited a group of Black designers to the Met Gala, stating:

“I no longer wanted to just be another person in the room. I worked with Law Roach to invite some up-and-coming Black designers, have them dress some guests, and we all show up together to create space and opportunity.”
