Leo/Bagas Stopped in Round Of 32 at Singapore Open 2025

Leo Rolly Carnando and Bagas Maulana, saw their journey at the Singapore Open 2025 cut short in the round of 32, following a defeat to Thailand’s Kittinupong Kedren/Dechapol Puavaranukroh.

The match took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, where the world No. 9 Indonesian pair couldn’t overcome the consistent performance of the Thai duo.

Kedren/Puavaranukroh, who recently reunited and currently sit at world No. 15, displayed remarkable synergy and tactical play throughout the match.

Slow Start Cost Indonesians a Spot in the Next Round

Leo/Bagas were caught off guard by the defensive-counter strategy employed by the Thai pair. They quickly fell behind 1–6, and were still trailing 8–11 at the mid-game interval.

Despite mounting a late comeback to draw level at 19–19, the Indonesian duo couldn’t convert key points in the final moments, ultimately losing the match.

The result leaves Leo/Bagas with room for improvement ahead of their upcoming tournaments in the BWF World Tour calendar.
