Leo/Bagas advance to Asian Championships semifinal after defeating Taiwan pair

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesian men’s doubles pair Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana have advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Asian Championships taking place at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center, China.

The Indonesian representatives — who faced Taiwan’s Liu Kuang Heng/Yang Po Han in the quarter-finals — secured a straight games victory with scores of 21-16, 21-17.

At the start of the match, Leo/Bagas initially trailed 0-2 — but managed to turn the tide to 4-2 thanks to a series of effective attacks that overwhelmed their opponents.

The attacking play displayed by the Indonesian pair continued to bear fruit — as they widened their lead to 9-4 before eventually securing their semifinal ticket.
