Lee Seon-woo, a standout women’s volleyball player from Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks, made headlines in the Korean V-League 2024/2025 by scoring 32 points in a match against Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders.

This performance marked Lee Seon-woo as the first domestic player to score over 30 points in a single match since Kim Yeon-koung registered 36 points. Her previous personal best was 27 points, achieved against Gwangju AI Pepper Savings Bank.

The achievement is especially historic for Red Sparks, as no local player had reached the 30-point milestone in over a decade. The last to do so was Baek Mok-hwa, back when the team was known as KGC Ginseng Corporation.

Despite her powerful attacking skills, Lee Seon-woo still faces challenges in reception. Her ball reception efficiency this season is only 10.99 percent, with a career efficiency of 15.458 percent.
