Lee Reveals Challenges Facing Pink Spiders and Coach Yoshihara’s Profile

Dahyun Lee acknowledges the challenge of facing Pink Spiders — the club that has now become her new team after leaving Hillstate.

“It’s a team that’s difficult to analyze or prepare for,” Lee reveals.

Pink Spiders‘ new head coach, Yoshihara — a former Japan national team middle blocker who competed in three Olympic Games (Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, and Athens 2004) — brings valuable experience to the club. His accomplishments include leading JT Marvelous from Division 2 to Division 1 within a year, winning two league titles, and appearing in five Japan League finals.

“My strength is quick attacks. I want to develop more technically,” Lee explains regarding her goals with the new team.

Pink Spiders are now entering a transformative era following the retirement of star wing spiker Yeon-gyeong Kim — preparing for the next chapter under the experienced leadership of Yoshihara, with Lee expected to play a key role in the club’s tactical evolution.
