Lee Ho-bin joins Red Sparks after seven years in University League

Lee Ho-bin — the 27-year-old middle blocker — joins Red Sparks after seven years in the University League. The player previously represented Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders in the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons — making Red Sparks his second professional club.

The recruitment of Lee Ho-bin and a new setter — who will serve as backup to Kim Da-in and Kim Sa-rang — follows the departure of two players in the Korean Volleyball League’s 2025-2026 transfer window.

Son Hye-jin has moved to Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi-Pass, while Lee Ye-dam — who lasted just one season after falling behind Lee Ji-soo in the rotation — has joined Suwon City.
