Leclerc Disappointed with Qualifying Performance at British GP

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc expressed his frustration after finishing sixth in British GP qualifying — 0.229 seconds behind Red Bull’s Max Verstappen who secured pole position.

Despite showing promising performance in practice sessions and leading FP3, Leclerc struggled when it mattered in qualifying — even falling behind teammate Lewis Hamilton who starts from fifth position.

“I am not doing the job. Since the beginning of the season, I’ve been performing very well in the races, but for qualifying which used to be my strength, there are many things I would like to change,” Leclerc stated.

The Monegasque driver explained that his issues are very specific to the Ferrari car, particularly at high-speed circuits. Starting sixth makes his race strategy more challenging tomorrow — having to chase from behind Verstappen, the McLaren duo, and Mercedes drivers George Russell and Hamilton.
