Lanny/Fadia Stopped in Second Round of Indonesia Open 2025

The Indonesian women’s doubles pair, Lanny Tria Mayasari and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, ended their run in the second round of the Indonesia Open 2025, held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

Tight First Game Despite Early Dominance

In a fiercely contested match against Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan of Malaysia — who were accompanied by Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) head coach Rexy Mainaky — both sides delivered high intensity from the very beginning.

In the opening game, Lanny/Fadia showed early dominance, taking the lead until the interval with confident and aggressive play. After the break, the Indonesian duo extended their advantage to 15-9.

Long Rallies Mark a Close Battle

Although Tan/Muralitharan began closing the gap to 15-17, Lanny/Fadia responded with tactical composure and engaged in long, energy-draining rallies to maintain their lead. However, the tide eventually turned in favor of the Malaysian pair, ending Indonesia’s hope in this match.
