The 17-year-old wonderkid made the difference in the Catalan derby by recording one goal and one assist — proving his role as a key player for Barcelona this season.

The opening goal came in the 53rd minute when Yamal cut inside from the right flank before unleashing a left-footed shot that soared into the corner of the Espanyol goal.
