Real Madrid have received a major boost ahead of their Copa del Rey final clash with Barcelona at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville, according to Football Espana.

Kylian Mbappe, who has scored 32 goals across all competitions this season, had suffered an ankle injury during last week’s Champions League match against Arsenal.

However, head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that his star striker is recovering well. While Mbappe will miss the upcoming match against Getafe, he is expected to be ready for the final.

Mbappe is not ready for Getafe, but he will train in the coming days. He’ll be ready for Saturday’s match,” said Ancelotti.

The El Clasico showdown in the Copa del Rey final will be held at a neutral venue this coming Sunday early morning (WIB).
