Kyle Walker willing to trade Premier League title for Tottenham trophy

Kyle Walker has made a surprising statement expressing willingness to trade one of his Premier League titles with Manchester City for the chance to have won a trophy with Tottenham Hotspur.

This revelation comes after Spurs ended their 17-year trophy drought by winning the Europa League this season — defeating Manchester United 1-0 in the Bilbao final.

“I’d probably give up one Premier League to win that Europa League with Tottenham. I would, if I could change it, just to say that I was in that Spurs squad that won a trophy, the first since 2007,” Walker stated in his podcast.

The 35-year-old defender also spoke warmly about Son Heung-min:

“I remember him walking through the door from Leverkusen, like a rabbit in headlights. There were big characters back then. It’s just nice to see him finally achieve this after coming so close many times.”

Walker’s future at City remains uncertain after his exclusion from the Club World Cup squad, despite having collected 16 major trophies including six Premier Leagues.
