Kyle Walker officially joins Burnley after leaving Man City

Kyle Walker has officially left Manchester City to join Premier League promoted side Burnley, as confirmed by the club’s official website.

The 35-year-old veteran defender — who was previously linked with AC Milan — has signed a long-term contract with The Clarets until 2027.

“I’m happy to be here. When I spoke with Scott and heard about his plans for next season, it was an opportunity I immediately took,” said Walker.

“He has done an amazing job here, guiding the club back to the Premier League with 100 points,” he added.

This move ends Walker’s eight-year career with Manchester City — the team he has represented since moving from Tottenham Hotspur.
