Kudus hosts largest national junior archery championship in history

According to Bolasport.com, Kudus City — Central Java is hosting the largest junior archery competition ever held in Indonesia.

The MilkLife Archery Challenge National Junior Championship 2025 taking place at Supersoccer Arena features 876 young athletes from 28 provinces — marking the highest participation achievement in national junior archery championship history.

Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo, Minister of Youth and Sports, expressed appreciation for the collaboration between Perpani and Djarum Foundation in developing national archery.

“The government has a very high commitment to archery. I am grateful for the support from the federation and private companies that love sports,” stated Ariotedjo.

“Archery is Indonesia’s leading sport in every prestigious multi-event as it always qualifies representatives even in the Olympics. I believe the younger generation will develop better and sports achievements including archery will reach greater heights,” he added.
