Korbin Albert Joins Lyon from PSG on Three-Season Deal

United States midfielder Korbin Albert has officially joined OL Lyon from Paris Saint-Germain on a three-season contract running until June 2028, ESPN reports.

During her PSG career since 2022, Albert has appeared in 71 matches across all competitions — scoring nine goals for the Parisian club.

The player who has recorded 26 appearances for the United States national team was part of the squad that won gold at the Paris Olympics last year.

At Lyon, Albert will join her compatriot Lindsey Heaps, who also captains the US national team. The club recently appointed Jonatan Giráldez as new head coach replacing Joe Montemurro who departed for the Australian women’s national team.

ESPN also reports that another US national team midfielder, Lily Yohannes, is finalizing her move from Ajax Amsterdam to Lyon — with a transfer fee of around €450 thousand plus a percentage of future transfer.
