Indonesia’s national team, set to compete in the Fourth Round of the 2026 Asian World Cup Qualifiers this October, concluded the Third Round by finishing fourth in Group C.

The Garuda squad collected 12 points from 10 matches, with their final result being a heavy 0–6 loss to Japan last month.

Head coach Patrick Kluivert spoke after today’s Fourth Round group draw.

“The FIFA ranking gap between the two teams clearly reflects a real difference in quality,” Kluivert said.

The Dutch tactician stressed the need for thorough evaluation, focusing on improving team performance ahead of the new challenges in Round Four.
