Kluivert Praises Kambuaya After Win Over China

In last night’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers match against China, Patrick Kluivert gave special praise to Ricky Kambuaya for his performance in a new role.

The player — who usually operates as a central midfielder — was entrusted to play as an attacking midfielder alongside Egy Maulana Vikri, supporting Ole Romeny up front.

Ricky Kambuaya showcased his ability to control the game and deliver quality passes into the opponent’s defense.
