Patrick Kluivert — Indonesia national team coach — will benefit from the June international break, which is scheduled after club competitions conclude.

The March international break served as a valuable lesson for the team, as they had only two days to prepare before facing Australia, resulting in a 1-5 defeat.

However, significant improvement was evident against Bahrain. With four days of preparation, Kluivert and his assistant Alex Pastoor successfully adjusted the team’s playing style, leading to a 1-0 victory at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

The Indonesia national team will return to action during the June international break with two crucial matches:

  • Against China on June 5

  • Facing Japan on June 10

The extended preparation period is expected to further refine Indonesia’s tactics, giving Kluivert an opportunity to enhance team cohesion and strategy ahead of these key fixtures.
