Patrick Kluivert to Evaluate Indonesia after Japan Defeat

Patrick Kluivert revealed his plans to evaluate the Indonesia national football team after their heavy 0-6 loss to Japan in the third round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

The Dutch coach’s record with Indonesia has been rather average — from the last four matches, the team managed only two narrow 1-0 wins and two defeats.

“We have to learn from this big defeat. We are very disappointed, but we must prepare for the fourth round. The most important thing is to evaluate after this match,” said Kluivert.

In the recent match against Japan, Samurai Blue midfielder Daichi Kamada became a nightmare for Indonesia’s defense by scoring two goals out of the six conceded.
