Kim Yeon-koung ends career with Korean Volleyball League title and MVP awards

Kim Yeon-koung achieved a perfect ending to her career — winning the 2024-2025 Korean Volleyball League title with Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders along with MVP honors.

The South Korean volleyball superstar served as both rival and inspiration to Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi of Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks — the teams met in an intense championship series.

Pink Spiders emerged victorious in the dramatic best-of-five final series, despite Red Sparks mounting a comeback from 0-2 down to force a decisive fifth match.
