Kim Sang-sik indifferent about facing Indonesia or Thailand in ASEAN Cup U-23 final

Kim Sang-sik, Vietnam U-23 national team coach, displayed a calm attitude regarding his team’s potential final opponent in the ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 — whether it be Indonesia or Thailand.

This statement came after Vietnam secured their final ticket by defeating Philippines 2-1 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.

In the semifinal match, Vietnam initially fell behind through Javier Marional’s goal — but managed to turn things around with strikes from Nguyen Dinh Bac and Nguyen Xuan Bac.

“First of all, I’m very happy to win today and advance to the final,” stated Kim Sang-sik after the match.

The South Korean coach appreciated his players’ performance who managed to bounce back from behind and showed quality gameplay throughout the match.
