Kevin Schwantz Sebut MotoGP Mulai Kehilangan Daya Tarik

Kevin Schwantz, the 1993 500cc World Champion, has voiced his concern over the current state of MotoGP, saying the sport is becoming less exciting than it once was.

The American racing legend opted to attend the World Superbike event in Cremona, Italy last weekend — a choice that reflected his growing preference for the Superbike racing format.

“I think MotoGP is a bit boring, so I came here to watch this race,” Schwantz told Speedweek.

His presence also brought back memories of his fellow countryman, Fred Merkel, who was the first-ever two-time World Superbike champion when the series began in 1988.

“I remember my friend Fred Merkel winning the first two titles. Superbike has always been a great racing series,” Schwantz added.
