According to Crash, American MotoGP legend Kevin Schwantz analyzes the impact of pressure applied by Francesco Bagnaia on Marc Marquez’s crash at Circuit of The Americas.

Reigning MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia — who claimed victory in Texas after Marquez lost the lead at his favorite circuit — demonstrated significant adaptation with his motorcycle.

“As a two-time champion, Pecco knows he will find confidence and speed. He just hasn’t felt comfortable or confident yet. They seem to have made some adjustments,” states Schwantz.

“It looks like he has to drive his bike and complete the turn, instead of, at the apex, finishing the turn then driving his bike to the edge of the track. His bike seemed more suited to his liking in America.”

Schwantz also highlights the mental aspect of the competition — the pressure that Marquez might have felt while facing Bagnaia who was seeking momentum to bounce back.
