Kevin Sanjaya comments on Malaysia’s men’s doubles success under Herry IP

Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo has shared his perspective on the development of Malaysia’s men’s doubles team now under the guidance of his former PBSI coach — Herry Iman Pierngadi.

Since joining the Malaysian team in February, the 62-year-old coach has led his players to four prestigious titles.

The pair of Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik have secured three titles:

• Asian Championships 2025
• Thailand Open 2025
• Singapore Open 2025

Meanwhile, the duo of Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun contributed by winning the Malaysia Masters 2025.

“Malaysia indeed has quality and experienced players — combined with Herry IP’s touch, they’ve become even stronger,” Kevin remarked about his former coach’s team’s achievements.
