Kevin Mendoza leaves Persib Bandung to join Chonburi FC

Chonburi FC has officially announced the recruitment of Philippines national team goalkeeper Kevin Mendoza, who previously played for Persib Bandung. The announcement was made through the club’s social media on Thursday (3/7).

The Danish-Filipino goalkeeper leaves Persib Bandung with remarkable achievements — leading the club to consecutive Liga 1 championship titles in two seasons.

Mendoza, who served as Maung Bandung’s primary goalkeeper during their Liga 1 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 title-winning campaigns — will now be the last line of defense for Chonburi FC in the 2025/2026 season.

The arrival of the former Persib goalkeeper makes him the tenth foreign player to strengthen the Thai club for the upcoming season.
