Kevin Diks suffers serious injury ahead of crucial Indonesia national team matches

According to Copenhagen Sunday, Indonesia national team defender Kevin Diks has suffered a serious injury that will force him to be sidelined until the end of the 2024/2025 season.

FC Copenhagen coach Jacob Neestrup — confirmed that two of his players will face extended absences, namely Kevin Diks and Birger Meling.

This injury means the Maluku-descended player will definitely miss Indonesia’s two World Cup 2026 Asian Zone Qualification matches — against China and Japan scheduled for June 2025.
