Kevin Diks Injured, Ruled Out of the Season and Will Miss Indonesia’s World Cup Qualifiers

Indonesian national team defender Kevin Diks has suffered a serious injury that will sideline him for the remainder of the 2024/2025 season, according to a report from Copenhagen Sunday.

This injury also means Kevin will miss two crucial matches in the 2026 AFC World Cup Qualifiers, where Indonesia is set to face China and Japan this coming June.

FC Copenhagen head coach Jacob Neestrup confirmed that two of his players will be unavailable for the rest of the season.

“Kevin Diks and Birger Meling will not be able to play for the remainder of the season,” Neestrup stated.

The absence of the Maluku-descended defender is a major blow for the Indonesian national team, considering his vital role in Garuda’s defensive line.
