Kendal Tornado FC ready to face Persik Kendal in second friendly match

According to club statement, Kendal Tornado FC — Championship 2025/2026 contestant — will undergo their second friendly match against Persik Kendal.

The team under Stefan Keeltjes will compete at Kebondalem Main Stadium, Kendal, Central Java — the match is scheduled for this weekend.

In their first friendly match, Kendal Tornado FC suffered a 0-2 defeat against Persis Solo at UNS Stadium — a game that took place last week.

“For me, this upcoming friendly is quite good in our third week of training. Although they’re a semi-professional team, we’ll still play seriously and perform our best,” stated Keeltjes.

“We want to deliver an entertaining show for the spectators,” he added.
