KB Foresees RRQ Hoshi Struggle Ahead of MPL ID Royal Derby Showdown

The sixth week of the MLBB Pro League Indonesia Season 15, marking the start of the second half of the season, is set to ignite with the highly anticipated Royal Derby between RRQ Hoshi and Onic ID this coming Sunday (04/05).

In their previous encounter, the Indonesian King decisively defeated the Yellow Porcupine squad with a dominant 2-0 scoreline, fueled by the stellar performance of their roamer, Muhammad “Toyy” Rizky, during the competition’s opening week. RRQ has since solidified its momentum, currently sitting atop the current standings, while Onic ID continues to struggle, now trapped in the elimination zone.

Given these stats, it’s no surprise most viewers favor RRQ to win the upcoming Royal Derby and cement their lead. However, professional analyst Ryan “KB” Batistuta recently said via his livestream session that strategic depth could turn this into a pressure cooker for RRQ, especially with the return of Onic ID’s head coach, Miranda “Yeb” Denver.

“Now that Baba Yeba is back, the match might get even fiercer. But for some reason, RRQ always seems to dominate the early game against Onic. The key is to avoid mid-to-late game misplays like in past seasons—that’s what cost them previous derbies. My prediction is a 2-1 scoreline for them,” KB remarked.

KB’s prediction aligns with the Indonesian MLBB community’s belief that Onic ID will raise the stakes in the season’s second half. And Yeb’s reappearance as Onic ID’s tactician definitely cannot be underestimated, especially given his pivotal contributions during the team’s campaigns in the past two MPL ID seasons.
