Kamaru Usman — the former UFC welterweight champion — secured a crucial victory at UFC Atlanta against Joaquin Buckley on Sunday (15/6/2025).

The 38-year-old fighter demonstrated his dominance — defeating Buckley who is seven years his junior through unanimous decision in a full five-round contest.

This victory holds special significance for Usman — who previously suffered three consecutive losses against Leon Edwards (twice) and Khamzat Chimaev since his last win over Colby Covington about 3.5 years ago.
