Kairi Backs Alberttt After Evos’ MPL ID Exit in Season 15

ONIC Esports’ star jungler Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol has expressed sympathy for his former teammate and Evos’ standout player, Albert “Alberttt” Iskandar, following Evos’ elimination from contention for the final playoff slot in MPL ID Season 15.

The two previously played together for ONIC from mid-2023 to late 2024, competing in major tournaments outside the MPL ID circuit. Though Alberttt never displaced Kairi as the team’s primary jungler, he was occasionally relied upon during critical matches when strategic adjustments were needed.

Alberttt later joined Evos ahead of MPL ID Season 15 in February 2024, quickly making an impact with standout performances in the first half of the season. However, Evos’ consistency waned over time, and the team remained stuck in seventh place through the eighth week, ultimately missing the playoffs.

This outcome drew heavy criticism from Evos’ loyal fanbase, the Evos Fams, with players facing intense scrutiny. Despite this, Kairi believes the backlash directed at Alberttt is baseless, arguing that Evos’ struggles stemmed from a lack of team chemistry rather than individual performance.

“I think their (Evos) chemistry was the issue. But Alberttt played really well,” Kairi stated during a post-match interview in MPL ID S15.

This assessment is supported by Alberttt’s impressive stats, which rank him as the third-most effective jungler in the league this season, behind only Kairi and Alter Ego’s Syahrul “Rinee” Ramadhan. Alberttt averaged 4.24 kills per match and boasted a 77% team fight participation rate, highlighting his consistent contributions despite Evos’ slump.
