Igor Tudor‘s team faced a tough challenge as Juventus hosted Monza at the Allianz Stadium, Turin — a crucial match for their Champions League ambitions.

Juventus entered the game under huge pressure after dropping to sixth place in the Serie A standings — following AS Roma‘s win over Inter Milan.

From the beginning, Juventus took the attacking initiative. Monza had a chance on a quick counterattack in the seventh minute through Samuele Birindelli, but his shot was too weak to trouble goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.

Kenan Yildiz tried his luck in the tenth minute after receiving a pass from Randal Kolo Muani, but it did not alter the scoreline.
