Juventus and Leverkusen Target Chelsea Star Raheem Sterling

According to ESPN sources, Raheem Sterling has caught the attention of two European giants — Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen are considering a move for the Chelsea winger.

The 30-year-old has two years remaining on his Stamford Bridge contract, with Chelsea setting a £20 million price tag. Sterling is currently training at the Cobham complex after being left out of the squad that won the Club World Cup in the United States.

Last season, Sterling endured an unsuccessful loan spell at Arsenal — recording just two assists without scoring in 17 Premier League appearances. Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca subsequently placed Sterling in the “bomb squad” — a group of players training separately from the first team.

While most of Chelsea’s squad are on holiday following their Club World Cup success, Sterling continues training and focusing on the new season. No formal offers have been made yet, but Juventus and Leverkusen are considered primary destinations for Sterling’s future.
