Justin Tatum Officially Appointed as New Head Coach of Pelita Jaya Basketball

Justin Tatum has officially been appointed as the new head coach of Pelita Jaya Basketball, the reigning champion of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) based in Jakarta.

The 47-year-old coach brings valuable experience, having led his team to a championship title in the NBL Australia just last month—an achievement that earned him the Coach of the Year award.

Tatum’s first step with Pelita Jaya will begin on May 5, when the team’s first training session is scheduled as the start of their preparation for the competitive season ahead.

The former American professional player carries a clear mission—to defend the IBL championship title and secure a top-four finish in the BCL Asia, with 10 regular season games lined up.
