Jremy Steps Down from Team Secret Valorant

Rumors about Team Secret Valorant’s squad overhaul appear to be coming true, as duelist Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera has now been moved to the inactive roster, continuing the team’s recent shakeup.

Jremy is the second player cut from Secret’s lineup following their disappointing performance in the VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1. Earlier, the Filipino Pride team parted ways with James “2GE” Goopio, who had been a member since October 2024.

Jremy’s role as duelist is likely to be filled by Sha “ZesBeeW” Mohtar, who is reportedly finalizing a contract with Secret. Alongside ZesBeeW, Global Esports’ in-game leader Kelly “kellyS” Sedillo is also on the team’s list of potential new signings.

Jremy’s departure comes as a shock to fans who have followed his journey with Secret since 2022. When the 20-year-old Filipino player first joined, he was hailed as one of Southeast Asia’s most promising young talents, delivering standout performances in major tournaments like the APAC Predator League 2024 and India Invitational 2022.

However, the team’s performance has steadily declined over the past season. Despite their exceptional mechanical skill, their strategies often lagged behind more adaptable opponents, leading to missed opportunities in critical matches.
