Josserand confident Bahrain ready to face Taiwan in knockout phase

Arnaud Josserand, Bahrain’s volleyball team coach, confirms his team’s readiness to face Taiwan — Group C runners-up in the knockout phase.

The host team led by Mohammed Yaqoob and his teammates are ambitious to showcase their best performance — backed by the home advantage with full crowd support.

“I think we are quite close to what we can do and deliver the best volleyball game we can,” Josserand told GDN.

“There are always some small details like, when we play well, we want to play very well. Sometimes, just continuing to play well is enough.”

“They want to give a lot, and moreover we’re playing at home. So we want to give something to the fans, I love our team.”

Josserand also indicated he would not make significant changes to the player composition for the match against Taiwan.
