Jorge Martin to miss German MotoGP due to incomplete injury recovery

According to Paddock-GP, Jorge Martin must again postpone his comeback at the 2025 German MotoGP at Sachsenring Circuit — recent medical examinations indicate his condition hasn’t fully recovered.

The Aprilia rider is still recovering from scaphoid and rib fractures sustained during preseason testing earlier this year — a situation that worsened after an additional crash at the 2025 Qatar MotoGP.

Dr. Xavier Mir and Dr. Angel Charte, MotoGP’s chief medical officer, have conducted a thorough evaluation of Martin’s condition.

“The scaphoid’s range of motion is almost complete but the bone healing isn’t perfect,” stated Dr. Xavier Mir, fracture specialist.

Dr. Charte added that several injured areas still require recovery time — a condition that doesn’t yet allow for intensive activities like MotoGP racing.
