According to Bolasport.com, Jorge Martin — the 2024 MotoGP world champion — speaks out about his future with Aprilia team that has become a hot topic of discussion.

The rider nicknamed Martinator — who joined the Noale factory team after parting ways with Ducati Lenovo last season — is now opening the possibility of leaving the team in the 2026 season.

“I want to share with all fans, media, and people following my career a clear explanation about my situation with Aprilia,” Martin stated in his official statement.

“I never breached the contract. When we signed it, I agreed with Aprilia that if certain conditions were not met, I have the right to decide my future for 2026,” he added.

This statement emerges to straighten out various speculations — including accusations that he disrespected the contract with the Italian team that was supposed to last until the end of the 2026 season.
