Jorge Lorenzo defends Francesco Bagnaia during Ducati motorcycle crisis

Former three-time MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo speaks up in defense of Francesco Bagnaia who is facing a crisis with his Ducati Desmosedici GP25 motorcycle this season.

The Turin-born rider continues to struggle adapting to his bike — while his teammate Marc Marquez has shown impressive performance after one and a half seasons with Ducati.

“Marquez is better in most areas. Physically, braking, tire management, he has become an expert,” Lorenzo told Motosan.

Lorenzo understands Bagnaia’s situation based on his own experience with Ducati. The Mallorcan rider only achieved three victories during his two seasons riding for the Italian team — all secured in 2018 at the Italian, Catalunya, and Austrian GPs.
