Jordi Amat joins Persija Jakarta for 2025/2026 season

Jordi Amat — Indonesia national team’s naturalized defender currently playing for Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) — will join Persija Jakarta for the 2025/2026 Liga 1 season.

This decision comes as JDT plans to restructure their squad for the upcoming season — including releasing several key players.

“Everything went well,” stated Jordi Amat who admitted to having carefully considered this decision.

At Persija Jakarta, Jordi Amat will partner with another national team defender — Rizky Ridho — to guard Macan Kemayoran’s defensive line.
