Jordi Amat chooses special jersey number at Persija Jakarta

Jordi Amat has officially signed a two-year contract with Persija Jakarta for the Liga 1 2025/2026 competition — after previously serving as team captain at Johor Darul Ta’zim.

The player who represented Indonesia national team wearing number 4 will don a different jersey number at his new club — since number 5 that he wore at JDT is currently used by Persija captain, Rizky Ridho.

“Here I will wear jersey number 21. Because it has been my favorite number since childhood,” stated Jordi Amat.
