Jordi Amat begins training with Persija Jakarta

Jordi Amat has begun a new chapter with Persija Jakarta by participating in team training sessions — an initial step towards the upcoming Liga 1 season.

The Macan Kemayoran potentially has a solid defensive line with Amat’s arrival who will partner with Rizky Ridho in central defense.

Despite having experience in Malaysia’s League with Johor Darul Ta’zim, Persija’s new signing still needs to adapt to Liga 1’s intensity and competitiveness.

“Jordi has completed training sessions well. Although adaptation time is needed, I’m confident he will quickly integrate with the team,” said coach Mauricio Souza.
