Jordan Taylor Ready for NASCAR Truck Series Debut with Spire Motorsports

Jordan Taylor will join Spire Motorsports for the NASCAR Truck Series race at Lime Rock Park — the first time any national division of NASCAR will compete at this circuit.

“I’m eager to join Spire Motorsports for the LiUNA 150. I have spoken with a few members of the team for a few years now, so it’s great things have finally come together. I know it’s going to be tough jumping into the series mid-season, but I know I am joining one of the top teams in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series,” Taylor stated.

The 34-year-old driver will pilot the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado — a truck that has already claimed victories this season with Kyle Busch and Carson Hocevar.

Taylor has prior NASCAR experience — competing in Cup Series as Chase Elliott’s replacement at COTA and two Xfinity Series races with Kaulig Racing. His endurance racing achievements include:

  • Two consecutive IMSA GTLM titles
  • Two IMSA prototype championships
  • Three Rolex 24 Daytona victories
  • Class victory at 24 Hours of Le Mans

Jeff Dickerson, Spire Motorsports co-owner, expressed that Taylor’s accomplishments at the global level are impressive and the team is thrilled to welcome him for this weekend’s race.
