Jonatan Christie Secures Convincing Win in China Open 2025 First Round

The Indonesian men’s singles shuttler won in straight games with scores of 21-17, 21-12 — showing convincing dominance after less satisfactory results in Japan tournament last week.

The match started with Jonatan leading 4-1, but this advantage temporarily disappeared when the score became even at 4-4 — due to several errors on overly long lob shots.

Jason Teh managed to put up resistance and led 8-6, but the former All England champion managed to turn things around — taking a narrow 11-10 lead at the first interval through more solid play.
