Johnny Jansen Jadi Pelatih Baru Bali United

Bali United have officially appointed Johnny Jansen as their new head coach, replacing Stefano Cugurra. The 50-year-old Dutchman holds a UEFA PRO license and last managed PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie, Europe’s 6th-best league according to UEFA.

Jansen brings vast experience, having coached Heerenveen’s youth and senior teams, and previously worked in Lebanon with Safa Sporting Club. At PEC Zwolle, he coached Eliano Reijnders, a player for the Indonesia national football team.

To support his plans at Bali United, Jansen brought two assistant coaches from the Netherlands: Ronnie Pander (former assistant at PEC Zwolle) and Jeffrey Dennis Talan (assistant at Netherlands U21 and former coach of Thom Haye).

Alex Pastoor, assistant coach of the Indonesia national football team, also recommended Jeffrey Talan to join the Serdadu Tridatu.

“Our target is to take Bali United to fourth or fifth place this season,” said Coach Johnny Jansen.
