Johann Zarco Expresses Concerns Over Honda RC213V Development Limitations

LCR Honda rider Johann Zarco has expressed his concerns about the RC213V motorcycle development limitations — a situation that is now affecting the team’s overall performance.

After a promising start to the season, the Honda team faces significant challenges — no riders managed to break into the top 10 in the last two series at Mugello and Assen circuits.

“The bike has reached its maximum limit in terms of development,” Zarco stated after only managing to finish 12th at the Dutch MotoGP.

Honda’s best achievement this season came from Johann Zarco who won his home race at the French MotoGP, making him the only rider from a Japanese manufacturer to claim victory in the last two seasons. Previously, Alex Rins from the same team recorded a victory at the 2023 Americas MotoGP.

The 34-year-old rider had earlier secured a second-place podium, while his teammate Joan Mir finished seventh at the Aragon MotoGP — the last best result for the Honda factory team.
