Joan Garcia officially joins Barcelona from Espanyol

Barcelona have completed the transfer of Joan Garcia from city rivals Espanyol, as reported by Bolasport.com. The Catalan club activated the release clause worth 25 million euros to secure the signature of the Spanish goalkeeper.

Garcia — who will wear the Blaugrana jersey until June 2030 — was presented as Barcelona’s first signing of this summer transfer window.

“I’m very happy to join a club as big as Barcelona,” said the 24-year-old keeper in his first interview at the club’s training facility.
