Jinggg Seeks Hand Injury Treatment Ahead of EWC 2025

Paper Rex player Wang “Jinggg” Jie has revealed he played through a hand injury during the recent Masters Toronto 2025 tournament.

On PRX’s Discord channel, the Singaporean player said he wanted to take the next 5-7 days off to recover before rejoining his team for practice ahead of EWC 2025.

Jinggg admitted he already felt the discomfort in his hands when PRX first arrived in Toronto last month. Despite this, he never complained and pushed through the pain, helping his team win their first Masters title by defeating Fnatic in the finals.

The injury clearly didn’t affect his performance—Jinggg ended the tournament as one of the top five players, finishing in third place just behind Kajetan “kaajak” Haremski in second.

PRX hasn’t commented on Jinggg’s situation or his latest medical evaluation. If this does not get any better, he might be replaced by Aaron “mindfreak” Leonheart, who recently enjoyed his new position as the team’s assistant coach.
