Jens Raven to be trained by Liverpool legend at FC Dordrecht

Jens Raven has received a special opportunity to develop under Dutch football legend — Dirk Kuyt who has been newly appointed as FC Dordrecht’s head coach.

The 19-year-old striker is currently preparing for the 2025 ASEAN Cup U-23 with the Indonesia national team. Raven received news of the new coach appointment while attending training camp with Gerald Vanenburg’s squad.

Dirk Kuyt who previously played for Liverpool and the Netherlands national team — will lead FC Dordrecht’s first team where Raven plays at U-21 level. The 44-year-old former striker brings vast experience after representing The Reds for six seasons and the Dutch national team for a decade.
