Jens Raven surpasses Ramadhan Sananta’s goal record in ASEAN Cup U-23

Jens Raven shows outstanding performance in ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 by scoring six goals — triple the achievement of the previous striker.

Two years ago, Indonesia U-23 national team under Shin Tae-yong‘s guidance reached the ASEAN Cup U-23 2023 final — despite playing with limited squad due to tournament being held outside FIFA calendar.

Ramadhan Sananta, striker born on November 27, 2002 who now plays for DPMM FC, became Indonesia’s top scorer in 2023 edition — with two goals both scored in group phase against Malaysia and Timor Leste.

Sananta’s limited goals were related to Group B format with only three teams — plus solid defenses of Thailand and Vietnam faced in semifinals and finals.
