Jens Raven scores 6 goals, Vietnamese media praises Indonesia U-23 performance

Vietnamese media Soha has expressed appreciation for Indonesia U-23 national team’s performance in their victory against Brunei Darussalam at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

The Garuda Muda squad secured a decisive 8-0 victory in the opening match of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 — with Jens Raven becoming the star of the show thanks to his six-goal haul.

The other two goals were contributed by Arkhan Fikri and Rayhan Hannan — completing Indonesia’s goal fest at home.

“Indonesia U-23 national team showed an outstanding performance, especially young striker Jens Raven who possesses strong physicality and lethal finishing ability,” Soha wrote in their report.

The 19-year-old striker recorded a hat-trick in the first half — proving his sharpness as the national team’s spearhead.
